I don’t usually write posts like this but I thought it might be good for me to look back over the things which made me happy in June.
Oliver won a prize in a raffle, and the sweetheart decided to bring this gorgeous bag home for me rather than choosing a prize for himself. I don’t tend to use black handbags during summer so I will save it until September. I love the chain straps and the zip detailing.
Nails Inc Sparkle Like A Unicorn Nail Polish Duo Kit
Nail polish AND unicorns? Two of my favourite things! The packaging for these two nail polishes is beautiful and the colours look amazing. I’ve only used one of the polishes so far but I will be making a full review of the kit soon. Hint: it’s really great.
The Body Shop Pinita Colada Body Sorbet
I’d be surprised if you hadn’t heard of this range, it seems so popular amongst bloggers at the moment. The smell is so gorgeous and as this is a sorbet, not a lotion, the texture feels so lovely and refreshing on my skin. It’s really different to anything else I’ve tried, and it absorbs into my skin so well, which is fab when you’re in a hurry after a shower.
Nescafe Gold White Chocolate Mocha
I can’t ever resist white chocolate drinks, so I had to try these when I saw they were on offer. It doesn’t taste quite like I was expecting, not white chocolatey enough would you believe! However it is nice and I’ve been enjoying it of an afternoon instead of tea. I might not re-buy it though, as a treat and a one-off it’s been nice.
Versace Bright Crystal
I received this perfume for Christmas, but I’m finding that it’s during the warmer months that I’m really enjoying using it. Plus the pink bottle is really cute and ideal for putting in your handbag. I find the scent to be fresh and a whiff puts a spring in my step.
Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick Nude 45
My mum gave this to me because she didn’t like it, nudes aren’t really her thing. However, I find it to be a lovely pink shade which is great for everyday use, and I have been wearing it a lot. To start with I thought I looked washed out because I’m pale anyway, but I think that’s mostly because I’m more used to brighter lipsticks.
